Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information GenX Aero LLC ("GenX Aero," "we," "us") collects through GenX Aero Stock and Sales (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to anyone who visits genxaero.com or uses the Service.

Account and company information — name, email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), company name, and any profile details you add (bio, location, logo, website).

Listings, quotes, and transaction records — parts you list, quotes and messages you send or receive, purchase orders, sales, exchange and repair records, and any documents you upload (e.g., an 8130-3 or EASA Form 1).

Payment information — subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and subscription status, but we never see or store your full card number.

Referral and cookie data — if you arrive via a referral link (a URL containing ?ref=), we store that code in a cookie for up to 90 days so a resulting signup can be attributed correctly. We also use a session cookie to keep you signed in.

Usage information — basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically as part of operating the Service.

• To operate the Service — your account, listings, quotes, and sales history;
• To process payments and manage your subscription;
• To send transactional emails (e.g., a new quote message, a password reset);
• To attribute a signup to a referral code or discount, where one was used;
• To maintain the security and integrity of the Service; and
• To respond to support requests sent to support@genxaero.com.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only as needed to operate the Service:

• Stripe, our payment processor, to handle subscription billing;
• Resend, our email provider, to deliver transactional emails;
• Vercel, our hosting and file-storage provider, to run the Service and store uploaded documents/images; and
• Other users of the Service, to the extent your listing, quote, or messages are visible to a counterparty as part of using the platform as intended.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of GenX Aero or our users.

We retain account and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and afterward as needed to comply with legal, accounting, or tax obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls limiting who can view your company's data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

You can review and update most of your account information directly from your dashboard settings. To request a copy of your data, or to request that your account and associated data be deleted, email support@genxaero.com. If you're located somewhere that grants you specific privacy rights under local law (for example, the EU/UK or California), we'll honor requests to the extent required by that law.

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
